Your polyglot is from the 17th century. The term "polyglot" originated from the Greek words "poly" meaning "many" and "glot" meaning "tongue" or "language." It was first used in the 17th century to refer to a person who is proficient in several languages. Over time, the term has evolved to also refer to books or texts that contain multiple translations or versions of a work in different languages. **

Becoming a polyglot, or someone who is fluent in multiple languages, takes dedication, time, and consistent practice. Start by choosing the languages you want to learn and immerse yourself in them through classes, online resources, or language exchange programs. Practice regularly by speaking with native speakers, watching movies or TV shows in the language, and reading books or articles. It's also important to be patient and persistent, as language learning is a long-term commitment. Finally, don't be afraid to make mistakes and keep an open mind to different cultures and ways of communication. **

There is no set number of languages one must speak to be considered a polyglot. Generally, a polyglot is someone who is proficient in several languages, often at least five or more. However, the term can be subjective and may vary depending on the individual or the context. Some people may consider themselves polyglots if they speak three or four languages fluently, while others may feel that they need to speak a larger number of languages to earn that title. Ultimately, being a polyglot is more about the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages rather than a specific number. **

Ultimately, longing is a complex emotion that can be influenced by a variety of factors, including fulfillment and non-fulfillment. **
